As the vibrant echoes of the Chinese New Year 2025 fills the air, Pecca Group Berhad proudly welcomed the Year of the Wood Snake with an exhilarating business reopening celebration on the ninth day of the lunar new year, February 6, 2025. Coinciding with this significant day, we also honoured the revered Jade Emperor’s Birthday (天公誕). According to tradition, this day is dedicated to the supreme deity of Taoism, the Jade Emperor, believed to govern all celestial and earthly affairs. To commemorate this sacred occasion, devotees participated in age-old rituals, including incense offerings and the presentation of various foods, as a mark of reverence and gratitude. This celebration reinforced our commitment to cultural appreciation and the values of harmony, respect, and unity.
The highlight of the event was the stunning acrobatic lion dance performance on the morning of the event itself. Members of staffs and top management gathered as early as 11.00am at the main lobby of the company to enjoy the acrobatic lion dance performances and office blessing featuring skilful movements and synchronised beats of the drums and cymbals. The lions leaped and swayed, bringing an air of joy and excitement to all in attendance. Employees, management, and staffs gathered to witness the breathtaking spectacle, sharing in the collective hope for a prosperous year ahead. The positive energy of the day was palpable as employees rejoiced in the festivities, embracing the spirit of new beginnings with enthusiasm and optimism. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the promise of a successful and fruitful year ahead.
Following the event, a very grand dinner was held to appreciate Pecca’s management staff for their hard work and dedication. The grand celebration took place at The Majestic Autograph Collection Hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Guests indulged in a scrumptious meal featuring an array of delicious dishes. The evening concluded with a heartfelt toast by the Group CEO, Mr. Foo Ken Nee expressing gratitude and well wishes for the year ahead.
