Pecca participated in the Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri (AKI) 2026, an industry excellence award organised by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) and managed by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). AKI recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding business excellence, innovation, productivity, and sustainable growth based on the Malaysia Business Excellence Framework (MBEF).
Building on our participation in AKI 2024, Pecca once again embarked on the AKI assessment journey in early 2026, beginning with the submission of the organisational assessment report. This was followed by the Pitching Session held in March 2026, where Pecca presented its business excellence journey and organisational performance.
Participation in AKI 2026 enables Pecca to assess its organisational strengths and identify opportunities for further improvement based on the seven Malaysia Business Excellence Framework (MBEF) criteria. The assessment process encourages greater cross-functional collaboration, strengthens alignment across departments, and reinforces a culture of performance excellence throughout the organisation.
We are honoured to have progressed to the On-Site Assessment, the final stage of the AKI 2026 assessment process, which will be held on 15 June 2026. Each department presented initiatives, key achievements, performance indicators, and improvement efforts in accordance with the seven MBEF criteria, followed by a factory tour to enable the assessors to observe the implementation and results firsthand.
Regardless of the outcome, Pecca views its participation in AKI 2026 as a meaningful journey that has provided valuable insights into its business practices, strengthened internal engagement, and reaffirmed its commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
