The Group officially resumed operations on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, a date regarded as especially significant and highly auspicious in Chinese tradition. This day is known as Ren Ri (人日), the “Birthday of All Living Beings.”
According to ancient Chinese mythology, Ren Ri commemorates the day when humanity was created. Traditionally observed on the seventh day of the first lunar month, it symbolises universal unity, shared blessings, and the collective growth of humankind. There is a well-known saying that mankind was created on the seventh day, a belief that resonates with similar creation narratives found in other religious traditions around the world, where the number seven often carries symbolic meaning of completeness and divine order.
On this meaningful occasion, everyone symbolically becomes one year older, representing maturity, progress, and renewal. Beyond the notion of aging, Ren Ri reflects a deeper cultural message: that all people share a common origin and are interconnected. The morning began with an exhilarating high-pole acrobatic lion dance performance that captivated the crowd with its precision, strength, and dynamic energy. The lion leapt fearlessly from stilt to stilt, a powerful symbol of bravery, courage, resilience, and the pursuit of success. The rhythmic beats of drums and cymbals filled the air, amplifying the festive spirit and igniting excitement among everyone present.
The performance was followed by traditional lion dance blessings throughout the entire office premises.
